The verified record
Grades K-5, public, School District 43 — that is Riverview Park Elementary in summary. The school is at 700 Clearwater Way in Coquitlam (V3C 6A3), reachable on 604 945-7004, with Shannon Bain as principal. The province files it under school code 04343057.
The source is the province's own Student Success database. It is worth saying so plainly, because a great deal of what is published about individual schools is copied from copies and quietly out of date.
Programme track
SD43 lists this school as english, with no French Immersion stream on site. That is worth settling before you commit to an address rather than after.
Immersion does run elsewhere in Coquitlam — École Rochester, École Porter Street, École Nestor are among the dual-track sites. None of them is reachable by living here, though: immersion is a programme of choice and placement runs on a space-permitting basis wherever you live.
The French Immersion overview sets out which schools host which entry points across the Tri-Cities.
The pathway
Students here promote to scott Creek Middle / Summit Middle (verify by specific address).
The elementary catchment and the middle catchment are drawn separately. A house can sit comfortably inside one and fall on the far side of the other, which is the single most common thing families get wrong when they buy on a school.
If the later years matter to you as much as the early ones, check every boundary for the exact address through SD43's locator while your subjects are still in place, not after they are removed.
The catchment on the ground
The catchment covers river Springs / lower Westwood Plateau — Clearwater Way and surrounding streets.
The housing inside that footprint is not uniform, and compressing it into a paragraph here would do it no favours — nor would it help to repeat what is already written elsewhere on this site. For the streets, the stock and the price bands, read Coquitlam neighbourhood guides.
Addresses near a boundary should always be confirmed through the SD43 locator before you rely on them. Boundaries move, and they do not follow the lines people assume from a map.

Thinking about the move, not just the school?
If you're weighing a move into this catchment, the hard part usually isn't the school — it's the timing and the tax math: when to sell your current home, how the property-transfer-tax works on the next one, and how to buy into the right catchment without overpaying. That's the work I focus on across the Tri-Cities. Start with the move-up guide, then get a no-obligation read on what your current home could sell for today.
