Greater Vancouver REALTORS® doesn’t publish one Burnaby benchmark — it reports three areas: Burnaby North (including Brentwood and Capitol Hill), Burnaby South (including Metrotown) and Burnaby East (East Burnaby, Edmonds and The Crest). No. It describes a typical home and is designed to track direction consistently. Lot, condition, layout and your exact street can put a real home well above or below it. For your address, request an Equity Map — I prepare it myself from recent comparable sales.
The monthly package I use for these areas gives sales against new listings, which is a different measure from the sales-to-active ratio on my Tri-Cities reports. Rather than show two different ratios that look the same, I leave it out here.
